Hearing God's Voice
Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV):
“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
How to Know God's Voice
The Still, Small Voice: In the book of 1 Kings, we encounter the prophet Elijah seeking God's guidance amidst the chaos of his time. Amidst the wind, earthquake, and fire, God chose to reveal Himself in a still, small voice. How often do we, like Elijah, seek God amidst the storms of life, only to find His voice in the quietness of our hearts?
Tuning Our Ears to His Voice:As followers of Christ, our hearts long to discern the voice of our Shepherd amidst the clamor of the world. Through prayer, meditation on Scripture, and quiet reflection, we attune our hearts to His gentle whispers. Just as a musician tunes their instrument to produce harmony, let us tune our souls to resonate with the voice of our Creator.
Discerning His Voice: In a world filled with competing voices and conflicting messages, discerning the voice of God requires wisdom and discernment. God's voice speaks truth, love, and peace into our lives, guiding us along the path of righteousness. As we seek His face, let us test every spirit against the Word of God, knowing that His voice will always align with His character and His Word.
The Community of Believers: In the fellowship of believers, we find strength, encouragement, and accountability as we journey together in faith. Through prayer, worship, and shared testimony, we bear witness to the faithfulness of our God, who speaks into the depths of our souls with words of hope and redemption.
Take a moment to quiet your heart before the Lord. In the stillness, listen for His voice speaking words of love, grace, and guidance into your life. Reflect on Scripture, seeking wisdom and insight from the Holy Spirit. As you go about your day, be attentive to the gentle whispers of God, knowing that He is ever-present, ever-loving, and ever-speaking into your life.

Well I do believe that God is listening to us, but how can we hear Him? Do you have to be schizophrenic to hear Him? Cause I don’t.
