Article: How To Find Peace

How To Find Peace

How To Find Peace

In a world that often feels chaotic, finding true peace can sometimes seem out of reach. Yet, as Christians, we are called to a peace that surpasses all understanding—a peace rooted in our relationship with God. This week, let’s reflect on how to truly embrace the peace that God offers.

Biblical Insights: What the Scriptures Say About Peace

1. Remember God's Promises
"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7

God’s promises are true and steadfast. When we remember that He has a plan and a purpose for us, our worries begin to fade. Spend some time this week in God’s Word, meditating on His promises. Let His assurance settle your spirit and restore your peace.

2. Cast Your Worries on Him
We’re reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 to "cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." God invites us to bring our burdens to Him in prayer, trusting that He will lift us up. In moments of stress, take a deep breath, and release your worries to God. Pray and trust that He’s holding you, even in the uncertainty.

3. Choose a Quiet Heart
In Matthew 11:28, Jesus invites us: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Quieting our hearts isn’t about ignoring life’s challenges but about choosing to rest in Jesus. His presence offers calm and assurance, reminding us that we are not alone.

 Final Thoughts

Father, thank You for the peace You offer. Help us trust You fully and remember Your promises. When we’re tempted to worry, draw us closer to You. Let us find rest in Your love and grace, knowing You are our source of lasting peace. Amen.

Yes, as
Matthew 6:33 states, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”.
When we follow God’s word it makes living so much more bearable. The world is going to “World” but we have to remember that we’re in this world and not of it. We belong to Christ! He has a plan for us all, we just have to follow his word. Then we can go back to our Heavenly home to dwell with our our father. Thank you
